Although we are not guaranteed snow in the UK (We can’t actually guarantee any kind of weather here let’s face it), December is the perfect time to find an ice skating rink or a snowdome. So take advantage, and fill a day with this wonderful winter activity!
As well as being a great way of incorporating some physical activity into the day, it is also a fantastic family outing and bound to provoke a lot of laughs and smiles.
Little ones can often choose to have a frame to assist them if they are not so steady on their feet and rinks always provide ice skates so all you have to do, is turn up!
This is another attraction that is often set up in garden and shopping centres throughout December and some stay put until mid-January!
Sledging and tobogganing is great fun too! But hopefully, we will have some snow and you can have a go at making your own sledge!
