Christmas shopping, love it or loathe it, is a big part of the festive season. Going when your town or city has it’s late night opening, with the twinkling lights, carol singers and hot food stalls is guaranteed to make you feel all Christmassy. So why not take the children along and get them feeling festive too.
We recommend going late night shopping when you only have one or two gifts to buy so you can spend extra time enjoying all the sights with the kids.
Children will love seeing the lights and the Christmas tree and having the treat of being allowed to stay up a bit later.
Why not grab a treat from one of the food stands that pop up in towns and cities at this time of year? You can often find stalls selling roasted chestnuts or freshly cooked doughnuts. Or you could pop into a coffee shop for a cake and a festive hot chocolate.
