Fun for all as Boys and Girls party together

Girls and boys party together

We understand that parents can often find a gender-specific theme (such as Princess or Football parties) easier to organise – but it doesn’t always have to be this way! Fun doesn’t differentiate between boys and girls, pink or blue, so why not host a gender-neutral party that will include all of your children’s classmates and friends!

You may have seen recent media coverage of the movement towards gender neutral school uniforms for children. We believe that children should have the freedom to enjoy a Captain Fantastic party free from gender limitations!

We think it’s always better to include both genders in the theme of a party, as boys and girls have much to learn from each other – and where better than in a fun, safe, party environment!

A Captain Fantastic Science party can provide fun and learning for all young children, and enable them to learn more about each other along the way. Research suggests that children can emotionally benefit from enjoying one another’s company at school, so why not at a gender neutral party too?

We’ve found some brilliant suggestions from around the web that can give you ideas for themes that will include both genders.

Ensure that every one of your children’s guests has a memorable time, perhaps with an “under the sea” theme, brimming with pirates, mermaids, sailors and all kinds of fantastic sea creatures.

If you’re looking for something a bit more specific, how about a “favourite book character” theme (the cake could even be the book cover!). A circus theme is always a safe bet which always ensures an eye-catching colour scheme!

Captain Fantastic’s Superhero parties are the perfect way to introduce gender neutrality to your children’s party – and will provide endless fun for both boys and girls! By creating an environment where boys and girls can party together, you can include all of your kid’s school friends and avoid making anyone feel left out.

From our experience, we have seen that boys and girls enjoy playing together, and children’s a party should only encourage this. Playmates can have a fantastic time at a gender-neutral party, where they have the freedom to play, sing, dance and celebrate without pink or blue limitations.  Including fun party extras is a great way to enhance a gender-inclusive theme, with popcorn, face-painting and balloon animals providing fun for everyone!
